Wuhu: Tianma Micro's 8 billion yuan new display module project is being promoted in an expeditious manner and is expected to be put into production in March 2024

Recently, Wuhu Municipal Party Committee Secretary Shan Xiangxiang held working talks with Peng Xuhui, Chairman of Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd., and his delegation. Xiang Xiangxiang pointed out that Tianma Microelectronics chose to build a R&D center and the world's largest single new display module factory in Wuhu, which has broad prospects and great potential. The municipal party committee and government will promote the project in an efficient and forward-looking manner, and go all out to ensure land, energy and other factors to promote the early start of the project.

Peng Xuhui introduced the progress of the new display module production line project. He said that since the signing of the project, all preparations have been progressing smoothly.

According to news released by the Wuhu Municipal People's Government, the project is expected to be put into operation in March 2024.

On June 8, the Wuhu Municipal Government signed a new display module production line project investment cooperation agreement with Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd., and the Jiujiang District Government signed a supplementary agreement to the new display module production line project investment cooperation agreement with Tianma Microelectronics Co., Ltd.

It is reported that the new display module production line project has a total investment of 8 billion yuan. The project is located in Beiwan Intelligent Equipment Industrial Park, covering an area of about 650 acres. According to the plan, construction will start in November 2022, mass production will begin in 2024, and full production will be completed in 2027, forming a monthly production capacity of 5.2 million new display modules, with an annual output value of no less than 12 billion yuan.
